Like most of you, I am heartbroken over the assassination of Gospel defender and freedom warrior, Charlie Kirk. The FBI has confirmed that the alleged assassin lived with a male as his romantic partner, a person who was attempting to transition to a female. If this information holds, it means that this was a same sex relationship (since there is no female involved) and that the assassin was a homosexual male.
Tyler Robinson was raised as a conservative Mormon but reportedly became radicalized in college.
Sound familiar? Why again do we at Mission America emphasize over and over again for parents to watchdog what their children are learning? It's because we have heard these stories many times. They don't usually end in assassination, but there's no doubt we will see more of these tragedies and probably, more bloodshed.
The ammo in the murder weapon was marked with anti-fascist messages. Of course, the irony is that fascism right now in America is coming from the left, using every tool they can marshal or manipulate to circumvent law and order, and to silence and destroy conservative voices. They cannot stand the lawful, Constitutional free speech that allows people like Charlie Kirk to enter into civil debate.
We must soberly recognize in America that, because of the reckless, heartless words and actions of liberals, and their politicians joined by the mainstream media, incitement to violence is underway and will continue until they are persuaded to tone it down. The attacks against Christians and conservatives are increasing and unless there is more accountability, it will only get worse.
Delusional ideas, contrary to the truth of God, can produce violent actions, and sexual sin is generating much of the fury we see on the left.
There are really not two sides to most arguments. There is the truth, and then everything else. Sometimes the truth is not knowable but sometimes it can be. And when obvious lies are allowed to develop and fester, those who believe them become increasingly anxious to silence any other voices, even if by force.
The reality of males and females as the two halves of the human race, is truth. To pretend to be the opposite sex is untrue. To believe one is born a homosexual is a delusion contrary to the creation of God. Like many of Satan’s tactics, believing these lies produces layer upon layer of deception and then, the person is consumed with anxiety to preserve that fragile delusion.
Sexual sin and gender confusion are behind much of the irrational antagonism we’re seeing, suppressing the truth in unrighteousness. In some people, it grows into a desire for destruction.
What’s the solution? Tell the truth, of course, especially to our children. They need to learn God’s standards that reject homosexuality, gender confusion and abortion as they grow into young adulthood.
