Reparations for Damaged Children

Linda Harvey

Texas Children's Hospital in Houston is opening the nation's first  de-transitioner clinic as part of a settlement after they were caught fraudulently billing public and private insurance for gender “transition” treatments on children. The hospital was exposed by a brave whistleblower.

Many of us are cheering over the establishment of a clinic to heal children intentionally damaged by the gender-change lunacy consuming pediatric medicine.

If anything qualifies as reparations, this does.

But that cannot be the end of it, can it? These children are not alone.

Not only should states and communities demand that children's hospitals shut down all pediatric "gender change" clinics, but there’s a long list of harms that America should repair, traumas that extremist agendas have inflicted on our youth.

How can we make it up to our children who’ve suffered betrayal in devastating ways by adults they trusted?

Here’s where we can start:

Throw out the pedo-protecting judges. No more judicial slaps on the wrist for convicted child sexual abuse offenders, but we need to tighten these laws, throw out these judges and allow unlimited statutes of limitations and additional monetary damages for children victimized by adults. And yes, this should apply to the Epstein cases.

And allow ICE to do their jobs to continue rounding up and deporting pedophile illegals.

Enact laws with criminal penalties for any school administrator, board member or teacher who fails to arrest/dismiss a child molesting staff member or student.  And set up lifetime compensation for children sexually assaulted at school, funded by the school apart from any taxpayer funds.

Malpractice suits should be encouraged and applauded against physicians, counselors, clinics and judges who recommended gender “transition”, a homosexual identity, or abortion to any minor, again with no statute of limitations. Praise the Lord for the suits that are being filed and for those that have been successful.

Compensate girls who lost medals and scholarships to gender confused males in athletic competition. Some efforts in this direction are already underway. Let’s ban all males in female sports.

Students have been told they must tolerate the opposite sex in their restrooms and locker rooms, even boys masturbating. Others have learned a fellow student secretly filmed them. In situations like these, students deserve compensatory damages. In some cases, student victims were falsely accused of sexual harassment when they complained.

Ban all “LGBTQ” lessons, clubs, sex ed, events, books and advocacy in schools. It’s time, friends. We know how much damage this movement is doing, especially to children. Let’s allow no more direct or implicit grooming at school into deviant sex practices or untruthful gender ideation. Our children deserve messages of sanity and stability.

Let’s hear no more lessons alleging perpetual victimhood by those proudly identifying as sexually immoral or gender confused. Let’s set up special victim commissions for people to bring cases where their minds, emotions and innocence were exploited in this way. Students should receive monetary damages as well as compensation for needed counseling of their choice well into adulthood with no statutes of limitations.

Middle and high school students subjected to pornographic sex education at school, and who then acted on the advice they received, should be entitled to compensation. The boy who pressured his girlfriend into sex because they were “ready for it” (a frequent message in comprehensive sex ed classes), has a case. Who supports the child born after their premature sex? The distributors and advocates of CSE lessons should be held liable for such outcomes and also lifetime treatment for STDs and emotional trauma caused by early sexual debut.

And what about children roped into BLM or anti-ICE protests? In a few years, after these students are allowed to hear both sides, many will be furious that they were duped by lessons their schools received “for free” from radical, bigoted sources like the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Learning for Justice.”

The millions of human beings who have been aborted deserve our apologies and grief, but how can we make it up to them? In this life we cannot. Yet we can prevent more of these unnecessary deaths. Give generously to pro-life advocacy groups and pregnancy (pro-life) centers and keep fighting to make abortion illegal everywhere in America.

So how do we go about funding reparations for the children who will go on living following school or medical-induced trauma? “You may be entitled” notifications should be given to every family of school-aged children, both in their places of medical care and at school.

How do we come up with the funds? Almost all schools have plenty of money—don’t let them fool you. If salaries and benefits were negotiated directly and without the corrupt teachers’ unions involved (who are protecting many of these child-harming practices), schools would save a ton of money, funds which could go to these victimized children. And the responsible teachers don’t need the NEA and AFT, so they would be better off.

And hospitals and doctors’ offices already provide informed consent—supposedly—so this would be one more document to sign. Without Medicaid and insurance fraud (hopefully  cleaned up very soon), some health care providers may be a bit more strapped, but once true health-saving procedures are underway, malpractice premiums will go down, which will save some bucks that can be allocated toward child reparations.

And for those schools foolish enough to have ever used SPLC material, the compensation to young ideological victims should be no problem. SPLC has hundreds of millions of dollars and will be happy to help. If not, our US Department of Justice will perhaps help SPLC see the light.

Yet the most important "reparation" we can provide to children is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord is their Creator. He's also their Healer and Comforter. Let's commit to making Jesus known to children struggling with a difficult past.

Truly, there have been many unworkable/unjust proposals about reparations, but this is not one of them.

Our children need our wisdom, witness and protection. Let’s give it to them.
