Okay, let me get this straight: not only did voters in CA have to decide again on November 4 whether marriage is still between a man and a woman—which they already decided in 2000—and which God decided a long time ago--but $74 million unnecessary dollars were thrown at this repeat effort during an economy in crisis.
Unhappy with a lawful vote, Prop 8 opponents have filed suits to overturn the will of the people and homosexuals are staging nationwide protests. And the “gay’” lobby wonders why the mainstream is getting fed up.
Crowds of angry homosexuals have taken to the streets demanding “rights” and equality, as well as protesting before selected churches. Signs with swastikas and screaming about hate are common. Some clashes have even turned violent, with one in Palm Springs resulting in minor injuries to a cross-carrying woman. She incensed the crowd with her terrifying message: “Fidelity!”
Oh, but them’s fightin’ words if you are wedded to sodomy instead of sanctity.
After publicizing the Prop 8 protests, I received an e-mail threat myself this week from a Houston lawyer, who did not bother to disguise his identity. He wrote: “You are very much being watched! All you jeebus-lovin-christers rights will slowly be taken away one by one the more you try to press your beliefs down our throats. Beware. We are everywhere and you will never know it. Watch your mouth. Watch your actions. We are watching them my friend and we are many and we are rich and we are very well educated and very powerful.”
Okey, dokey, then. I contacted the FBI. Notice how he considers voting at the ballot box “pressing your beliefs down our throats.” This is how these folks think—not with reason, but like two year- olds throwing a tantrum.
Back in September, pro-family groups experienced the same brazen intolerance of “tolerance” during a press conference on the steps of San Francisco City Hall.
We were speaking out against the September 28 Folsom Street Fair, which closed down thirteen city blocks to celebrate sado-masochism and homosexual sex. Several hundred thousand participants mingled with hundreds of fully nude men, some performing open sex acts. Children and teens were present, since these are public streets.
Yet homosexual activists showed up at the press event chanting “Shame on you!” for an hour, trying to shout us down. One even attempted to take over the conference.
We also spoke out in favor of Proposition 8. Reporters seemed confused. “You’re objecting to Folsom Street’s nudity and public sex. What’s that got to do with ‘gay marriage’?” several asked us.
Lawlessness is the connector, and Exhibit A is the refusal to accept the will of the democratic process and even get violent and threatening in the process. Haven’t we gotten the point yet? The goal of homosexual activism is not tolerance. It’s not equality. The point is revolution and getting their way, no matter what.
Logic does not matter. These bullies push past the inconvenient truth that there’s no evidence they were “born this way.” Despite many open admissions about this hole in their cherished platform, they continue to insist that only “hate” questions this claim.
The American Psychological Association's Q & A states there’s no evidence of a gene determining sexual orientation. In an article last year in the homosexual newspaper Southern Voice, the past chair of the American Psychiatric Association’s GLBT issues committee said, “...there is no real hard science to prove we are born gay.”
But these revelations from within their own ranks are irrelevant. “Basic rights” are being denied. Never mind that until recently, homosexuality has never in history been considered “marriage.” There’s a good reason: homosexuals already have the right to marry. They can marry someone of the opposite sex, because that’s what marriage is. Just as the sky is blue and not yellow, marriage is self-evident to all peoples and cultures, except for the intentionally blind.
Also never mind the effect on anyone else. Little kids will be forced in public schools to learn this is a great lifestyle, but concerned taxpayer parents are supposed to just get over this minor deception regarding a basic human institution.
California Public Health Department statistics on HIV/AIDS reveal that 76% of cases involve male-male homosexual sex. While the 51% rate in the nation as a whole is bad enough, California’s is much higher. AIDS in the U.S. is indeed a “gay” disease, and safe sex is being ignored, or it’s not working, or both.
Will this be revealed in California public schools? If I gambled, I’d put big money on a “no” to that question, despite the 69,000 total HIV/AIDS deaths in California directly attributable to males who have sex with males. Apparently, these are “throw-away”people and we really don’t need to spend much time figuring out why they died.
Far better to just keep having street orgies while police look the other way, and even honor this behavior as the foundation of “marriage.”
But if California cares about kids, it will notice that this epidemic is bleeding quickly into the lives of our youth ,according to the Centers for Disease Control, which revealed that between 2001 and 2006, HIV in the U.S. rose an average of 12% per year among males having sex with males between the ages 13 and 24 years old.
Instead of warning the public and parents, a cadre of Californians in the courts and now, in the streets, is playing power politics along Marxist class oppression guidelines by just declaring this “marriage.” Anyone standing in opposition is an oppressor.
There are evidently some adults still left in California, though, because they passed this measure. No matter that a chunk of these folks apparently voted for Barack Obama. Maybe they were in the dark about what he stands for. If he keeps his generous commitments to the “gay” lobby, he will try to undo all the state marriage amendments, including Prop 8.
And the fact that Prop 8 passed is no thanks to some of its proponents, who proclaimed their support for “civil unions” while just pleading to keep “marriage” reserved for a man and a woman. Having painted themselves into a sympathetic corner, they are now ominously quiet. Had they all been bolder about the real issue—homosexuality as a behavior--the issue might have passed with an even greater mandate.
In the meantime, we have to endure the incremental lawlessness of homosexuals who don’t get their way. Are police dealing with this? Or are they being told not to interfere, as officers at Folsom Street Fair told us they were instructed by superiors, despite laws against public nudity and public sex? Certainly there are already “gay” police. How conflicted are they? Should people in this lifestyle be hired as keepers of the law?
And yes, I am talking discrimination, which means “choosing.” Since so many misguided folks in California, from individuals in the “GLBT” lifestyle to ineffective public health officials to teachers to mayors to governors, choose to endorse irresponsible and immoral behavior no matter what, it’s time for citizens who still use good judgment to take the issue in hand—lawfully, of course.
Homosexuality –the behavior— needs to go back in the closet. It needs to be outlawed. It needs to be re-stigmatized. It needs to stop receiving sympathy from middle America and certainly within churches, and be seen for what it is—a blight on people’s lives, a corrupting influence on youth, a contamination of the public health.
To those who are trapped spinning in the mental, moral and spiritual bondage of this lifestyle: I feel for you, and I do pray for you. But you can’t have America. Until you learn to restrain yourselves, there must be lawful restraint of your out-of-control behavior and demands.
Go back in the closet until you shed this behavior. Leave our kids alone. Leave faithful churches alone. Leave our streets in peace. And please, get out of our faces.
