What’s Wrong with Same Sex “Marriage”? Mission America 
If you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, why endorse what God has called sin? (Genesis 19, Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, 2 Peter 2: 6-10) Isn’t that dishonest? Maybe even hypocritical? Nowhere in Scripture is homosexuality presented as “marriage,” or even as a positive behavior-- quite the opposite. It’s called an “abomination.” Maybe you don’t really believe in Jesus, or at least not in the real Jesus. Is it possible you have been following a false Christ? One who is more a figment of someone’s imagination than the real, living God? We humans have a track record on this -- inventing “gods” to fit our personal needs. The Bible talks about false Christs and a false gospel: Galatians 1:6 -8 “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.“ Strong words, but it’s important to keep lies out of Christian teaching, lies that lead people directly away from salvation through the real Jesus.
