A pro-family leader is appalled that former RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman subverted the party's position on traditional marriage while hiding his own homosexuality. Peter LaBarbera adds that current GOP head Michael Steele is misguided in applauding Mehlman's behavior while failing to acknowledge the many ex-homosexuals who provide a positive example. Who is Kevin Jennings and Why Should You Care?

GLSEN Founder to Head 'Safe Schools' in Obama Administration

by Sonja Dalton

Please read and forward to anyone who might be interested.

“U.S. Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan today announced the following nine appointments to his senior staff: ...Kevin Jennings, Assistant Deputy Secretary, Office of Safe & Drug Free Schools..."

Jennings wrote the foreword for the book, Queering Elementary Education.

"In his own writings and books listed on the GLSEN Website, I've reported, Kevin Jennings has given tacit nods of approval to sex between young teens and adults. In addition to that, the writings and books, many of which I've read and are incredibly graphic, seem to normalize early teen same-sex sexual behaviors...It is unconscionable. This is educational malpractice and child corruption." -- Linda Harvey, Mission America, article from World Net Daily

Kevin Jennings is the author of six other books which promote homosexuality (and more), including:

Mama’s Boy, Preacher’s Son (an autobiography)
Becoming Visible: A Reader in Gay and Lesbian History for High School and College Students
Telling Tales Out of School
One Teacher in Ten, 1st Edition
One Teacher in 10, 2nd Edition

Always My Child

On the web site Mission America, an article quotes in graphic detail the content of many of the books recommended for students on the GLSEN web site, including explicit sex between teens, sex between young teens and adults and much more. This article from 2002 ( while Jennings was president of GLSEN) cites books that are still listed in the BookLink section of the GLSEN website.

While a teacher at Concord Academy in Massachusetts, Kevin Jennings founded the first "gay/straight alliance." Now there are GSA's in THOUSANDS of middle schools and high schools across the U.S.

Kevin Jennings is the founder, and until recently was the President, of the queer activist group GLSEN (http://www.glsen.org/cgi-bin/iowa/all/home/index.html), the Gay-Lesbian-Straight Education Network. GLSEN promotes homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderism, queer and questioning “fluidity” and so forth — IN SCHOOLS, KINDERGARTEN through college. This is done by...

--Creating pro-queer “bullying” curriculae and “safe spaces”
--Campaigning against language like “that’s so gay” as “anti-LGBT” (positioned as "hate speech")
--Establishing GSA’s, celebrating “Day of Silence” and “Ally Week,” “No Name Calling Week,” and "TransAction" day
--Getting books into classrooms and libraries (books like “And Tango Makes Three,” “Heather Has Two Mommies” and “Rainbow Boys” and more)
--Conducting/distributing a “National School Climate Survey” (propaganda)
--Political lobbying and legislation like federal bill HR 2262, which results in pro-homosexual teacher training.....

Like this one in Iowa,
And this one in Massachusetts.

And that's not all...

“We immediately seized upon the opponent's calling card – safety – and explained how homophobia represents a threat to students' safety by creating a climate where violence, name-calling, health problems, and suicide are common. Titling our report, 'Making Schools Safe for Gay and Lesbian Youth,' we automatically threw our opponents onto the defensive and stole their best line of attack. This ... short-circuited their arguments and left them back-peddling from day one.” -- Kevin Jennings as quoted by Beetle Blogger

At GLSEN conferences in Boston, activists distributed "The Little Black Book" to kids in 2005, and provided GRAPHIC instruction in homosexual sex (including “fisting”!) to teens in 2000 ( also see HERE)

Here’s what the man who demands “tolerance” has to say to Christians:

“Twenty percent of people are hard-core fair-minded [pro-homosexual] people. Twenty percent are hard-core [anti-homosexual] bigots. We need to ignore the hard-core bigots, get more of the hard-core fair-minded people to speak up, and we'll pull that 60 percent [of people in the middle] ... over to our side. That's really what I think our strategy has to be. We have to quit being afraid of the religious right. We also have to quit — ... I'm trying to find a way to say this. I'm trying not to say, '[F---] 'em!' which is what I want to say, because I don't care what they think! [audience laughter] Drop dead!” Quoted in Concerned Women for America article

Here is the fruit of Kevin Jennings’ labors in Massachusetts (CLICK TO SEE SHOCKING PHOTOS!):

Massachusetts Commission on “Safe Schools”

Youth Pride Parade and also HERE

BAGLY -- and its fundraising efforts

And BAGLY prom, also HERE and HERE.

And sex change hormones/surgery.

Peter LaBarbera posted a thorough expose on Jennings, also
HERE.

This, my friends, is the man appointed to make schools “safe” for “LGBTQQ” kids “regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity” real or perceived.
